Jillian Scott leads strategy and fundraising efforts for the IFA Foundation. She brings to IFA an extensive background in business development, organizational strategy and planning, and hands-on experience scaling nonprofit and foundation programs. Most recently, she served as Executive Director of DreamWakers, a national edtech nonprofit supporting students from underrepresented backgrounds to enter the workforce. Prior to DreamWakers, she held various roles leading fundraising, strategy, and programs at a number of nonprofits and international organizations, including helming the U.S. Department of State’s prestigious TechWomen program at the Institute of International Education, as well as at Plan International and the World Health Organization.
Jillian has professional experience working across 25+ countries to grow mission-driven programs and brings technical expertise in cross-cutting mentorship, capacity building, and education/scholarship programming. Having grown up in a restaurateur family immersed in the franchising community, Jillian is particularly excited to advance the IFA Foundation's efforts to expand opportunities in franchise ownership, equity, and research.
Jillian holds a master’s degree from The George Washington University and a bachelor's degree from the University of Oregon.
