Spherion Named a Most Profitable and Innovative Franchise of 2024 by Franchise Business Review
ATLANTA — Spherion Staffing and Recruiting (Spherion) announced today that it will add two more prestigious awards to its growing list of accolades. With recognition by Franchise Business Review as one of the Most Profitable Franchises and Most Innovative Franchises, the U.S. staffing leader has continued to build upon its reputation as the most awarded staffing and recruiting franchise in 2024.
“Although the staffing and recruiting industry has faced challenges this past year, these awards highlight just how resilient our franchisees and the communities they serve truly are. Being named a most profitable and innovative franchise of 2024 is a testament to the dedication and adaptability of our entire network,” said Kathy George, president of Spherion. “At Spherion, we support our franchisees in overcoming obstacles to help them thrive, delivering exceptional value to all our local stakeholders.”
Spherion is setting the standard for franchisee satisfaction, as evidenced by the myriad of recognitions it has already received this year. Not only has the company earned attention for its strong unit-level economics and commitment to innovation, but it has also been named a:
- Top Franchise for Women,
- Top Franchise for Culture,
- Top Franchise for Veterans and
- Top Recession-Proof Franchise.
However, Spherion’s achievements are not only limited to the franchisor level. In July, Franchise Business Review named Spherion Madison, WI. and Rockford, IL. franchise owner, Austin Kassner, as a Millennial Franchise Rock Star.
To identify companies worthy of each of these awards, Franchise Business Review analyzed data from nearly 35,000 franchise owners representing 365 brands regarding their overall satisfaction with their brand and their likelihood to recommend it to others as well as other factors related to each category.
Franchise Business Review surveyed Spherion’s franchisees across 33 benchmark questions about their experience and satisfaction regarding critical areas of their franchise systems. These areas include training & support, operations, franchisor/franchisee relations and financial opportunity.
Spherion’s survey data showed the following:
- 96% of franchisees agree that their fellow franchisees are supportive of one another.
- 93% of franchisees agree they actively participate in company programs and events.
- 96% of franchisees are likely to recommend this franchise to others.
“Owner satisfaction, profitability, and long-term return on your investment are three of the most critical factors anyone should consider before investing in any franchise business,” said Eric Stites, founder and CEO of Franchise Business Review. “Most franchise businesses — like any new business — require several years of hard work before they start to really take off, but if you take the time to do your research, you have a much better chance of finding an opportunity that can help you attain significant wealth over time. The companies on the list of the Most Profitable Franchises offer a better than average shot at growing your income and received the highest ratings from current franchise owners on our independent satisfaction survey.”
Spherion brandishes the power of local through a network of independent and empowered franchisees. Each Spherion franchisee enriches their community through connecting and facilitating employment opportunities every day — and when they’re successful together, their investments flow back into the neighborhoods where they live and work. The power of Spherion is in its local roots.
