Smalls Sliders® Dropping Four Cans in South Georgia

October 29, 2024

GEORGIA – Smalls Sliders is continuing to spread its signature Smorange™ hue nationwide through its latest signed agreement to drop four Cans in the South Georgia region. The cheeseburger slider concept that has been making headlines for well over a year has inked its third and latest deal with DPC Smalls Investments, spearheaded by Doug Cone, as the brand looks to continue elevating its presence in its home state of Georgia.

With the latest agreement for South Georgia, Cone and DPC Smalls Investments has an impressive portfolio now sitting at 20 Cans slated to drop across markets in both Florida and Georgia. Cone, the Florida-based entrepreneur, brings an extensive background in business management and an impressive professional resume spanning decades in beverage distribution. Recently opening his first Can in Ocala, he is continuing to aid in the brand’s nationwide growth efforts through this new agreement.

“Smalls Sliders has been revolutionizing the QSR world, and we’re thrilled to continue spearheading expansion into new markets with our third agreement,” said Cone. “Our experience with the leadership team has been nothing short of spectacular and it is clear this brand has no plans of slowing down. Smalls is a one-of-a-kind concept with record-breaking growth and after seeing the reception from the community at our first Can opening, we’re extremely optimistic about our future developments.”

Through a strategically placed timeline, the group aims to open its four Cans in Georgia over the next five years with the first slated to open in 2025. DPC Smalls is actively eying key real estate in areas including Albany, Valdosta, Tifton, and Brunswick.

“Doug and his team have been excellent franchisees to work with and we’re excited to continue growing alongside them,” said Don Crocker, Chief Development Officer of Smalls Sliders. “Experienced and seasoned operating groups like DPC Smalls set us apart from other concepts in the QSR industry. Doug’s first Can recently opened in Ocala and it’s been a huge success, and we can’t wait to replicate that experience and enjoyment for our Frequent Sliders across all of our Cans nationwide.”

Smalls Sliders opened its first signature ‘Smorange™’ colored Can in 2019. Since its inception, Smalls Sliders has disrupted the QSR industry with its stacked leadership team and robust development pipeline, furthering its rapid growth trajectory with more than 350 Cans open or under development. The brand continues to garner high-level industry recognition, with Nation’s Restaurant News featuring Smalls Sliders in its “Breakout Brands of 2023”, and QSR Magazineranking the brand in its annual QSR 50 Contenders list in 2023 and 2024. Other accolades include ranking on Entrepreneur magazine’s “Top New & Emerging Franchises” list in 2023 and 2024.
