Pizza Factory in Taft Welcomes New Ownership

July 25, 2024

TAFT, Calif. – Pizza Factory, the award-winning pizza brand, recently announced that its Taft restaurant recently welcomed new ownership as local entrepreneurs, Amanda and Dale Seymour, now run the daily operations.

To celebrate, the Taft location will be hosting a customer appreciation event on Friday, July 26 starting at 11 a.m. The first 50 people in line on the day of the event will receive a free small pizza, a free t-shirt and be entered for a chance to win free pizza for a year. A $20 XL three-topping pizza deal will also be available all day long. Guests must be a rewards member to be eligible to win.

Prior to joining Pizza Factory, Amanda successfully worked in real estate for several years. With longstanding ties to the Taft community and a steadfast dedication to community service, she saw the opportunity with a staple like Pizza Factory and knew she had to take full advantage. Since taking over ownership, she has continued to uphold the brand’s legacy and reputation as a leader in the community by supporting many local programs and other extracurriculars.

“I have always dreamed of opening my own business and when learning about the opportunity with Pizza Factory, I knew this was meant to be,” said Amanda Seymour. “The Taft Pizza Factory has been a pillar in the community for close to 30 years and has proven to be a fantastic location known for its high-quality food and excellent customer service. We intend to continue producing the same exceptional experience that guests have come to expect of the business and help it grow to the next level.”

Pizza Factory stands out as a leader in the pizza segment, showcasing remarkable growth over the years. Its continued success is evident, as it secured a spot on the prestigious Entrepreneur Franchise 500 list at the start of 2024, surging 50 spots from the year prior to #373.

“Amanda and Dale have been such exceptional franchisees since joining the brand and taking over ownership of the Taft location,” said Mary Jane Riva, CEO of Pizza Factory. “Given that this location has a legacy of its own, we were looking for someone with knowledge and dedication to their community to pass the reigns to and the Seymours were the perfect fit.”

Including multiple fast-casual prototypes, Pizza Factory maintains its reputation for family-friendly dining and high-quality products. The brand specializes in its vast menu offerings, serving fresh, never frozen hand-tossed pizza, pasta, wings, sandwiches, salads, beer, wine and more. As Pizza Factory continues to develop into new markets, the brand is providing multi-unit operators flexible new-build or conversion options with delivery / curbside and traditional dine-in prototypes ranging from 1,000 – 4,000 sq. ft. The largest option typically features multiple dining sections, an arcade area for the kids, banquet rooms for parties and social gatherings and big-screen TVs throughout the restaurant.

With aggressive development efforts underway, Pizza Factory is actively growing and seeking multi-unit operators to develop nationwide. For more information about franchising with Pizza Factory, visit https://pizzafactoryfranchises.com
