The Network of Executive Women has elected 7-Eleven Senior Vice President and Chief Accounting Officer/Controller Alicia Howell to its board of directors.
RE/MAX Holdings has promoted Josh Bolgren to Senior Vice President of Business Growth, Brett Ritchie to Senior Vice President and Chief Accounting Officer, and Roy Schwalm, to Senior Vice President of Finance and Strategy.

Chop Stop has inked franchise agreements for 16 new locations across three states, including the brand’s first locations in the states of Nevada and Texas. The California-based salad and health-oriented QSR concept started in early 2018, with plans to have 23 locations open by the end of 2019. Among the new locations is a multi-unit agreement for eight locations around San Antonio, Texas, with an option to develop another eight units in Austin. Five Chop Stop locations are under construction in Southern California. The company has also reached a franchise agreement with Richard Rees focused on multiple locations in the San Diego area. Rees is a second-generation owner of a 7-Eleven who was looking for an emerging concept to grow with the brand and will operate the Chop Stop with his sons, Mark and Joey.
The Ark Pet Spa & Hotel is opening its fourth location in Chattanooga, Tenn. The new location will offer pet boarding and grooming, as well as the Ark’s retail brand Slobberbones Bakery & Market.
Outdoor Living Brands subsidiary Conserva Irrigation is reporting a total of 45 new franchise agreements over the course of 2018, including the expansion of nine territories with existing franchisees. The outdoor irrigation provider has expanded its services to various areas, including in California, Texas, Kansas, Michigan, New Jersey and across the southeastern U.S.
Home Care Pulse has recognized 13 ComForCare franchise locations with Best of Home Care awards. Nicol Rupolo of Stamford, Conn. and John Ikirt of Dayton, Ohio received awards in all three categories – Leader in Excellence, Provider of Choice and Employer of Choice. Receiving awards in the latter two categories were Michael Stanley and Rose Ordonez of Denver South, Colo.; Chip Mitchell of northwest Georgia; and Marsene Boldt with ComForCare brand At Your Side in Houston, Texas. Awarded as Provider of Choice were Mike and Peggy Duffy of Lakewood, Colo.; Curt and Carol-Lauren Reilly of Jacksonville, Fla.; Alan Bates of Lawrenceville, Ga.; and Gary and Elaine Raymond of Mountainside, N.J. Employer of Choice awards also went to the following:

Pinch A Penny Pool Patio and Spa opened 10 new locations during 2018, and signed 30 franchise agreements. The company has implemented a growth strategy centered on markets in Dallas, Houston and San Antonio, Texas.
Cereset, a wellness franchise dedicated to helping people sleep, has opened four new locations in recent weeks. The new locations are in Fair Oaks and Nevada City, Calif., Boise, Idaho, and Kalamazoo, Mich.
Always Best Care Senior Services is adding to a territory agreement with existing franchisee Marcus Gardner in Texas. Gardner’s Always Best Care of Dallas/Fort Worth/Mid Cities will now provide services to Carrollton, Texas. Prior to starting a franchise in 2008, Gardner worked as a business consultant for Ernst & Young.
