Kumon Brings Digital Learning to Thorold-Glendale Avenue Centre Location
THOROLD, Ontario (Sept. 25, 2024) – Kumon Centre of Thorold-Glendale Avenue is bringing new digital learning options to students. Kumon Connect, the company’s educational enrichment platform, promotes active learning and is designed to enhance learning outcomes for students in the community.
“As a longtime Kumon parent, I had firsthand experience how valuable the Kumon Method was in my children's education,” said Gulcin Gur-Duzgun, the Instructor at the centre. “Kumon is an affordable option for families who want to enrich their children's lifelong learning experience.”
Students are able to sign in to a web-based application, where they can access their homework and see their graded worksheets from the previous day.
Instructors are also able to “replay” students’ work, provide feedback and update lesson plans according to the student’s developing needs. Also, parents can monitor their children’s progress in real time through the application.
“I learned about Kumon when my children were in grade school and struggling with their math skills,” Gur-Duzgun said. “As a full-time working mom, I felt the need to seek an expert who had a system that could help me teach my kids. Kumon was the most affordable option for our family.”
Kumon Thorold-Glendale Avenue is located at 344 Glendale Ave., Unit B3, St. Catharines, Ontario L2T 4E3.
