WASHINGTON, Nov. 27 - President & CEO of Jani-King International, Inc., Jerry Crawford, CFE, the world’s largest commercial cleaning franchise company consisting of over 9,000 franchisees in ten countries, has been elected Secretary of the International Franchise Association (IFA).

“I join IFA’s Board of Directors in congratulating Jerry Crawford on his election as Secretary. Jerry is a strong and dedicated leader within the franchise community and brings decades of experience to our governance at IFA”, said IFA President & CEO Robert Cresanti.

Crawford has served in various leadership positions across the IFA and the IFA Foundation for several years, including Convention Committees 2011-2013, the International Committee, the Foundation Executive Committee and Board of Trustees since 1999, and multiple terms on IFA’s Board of Directors since 2004. Most recently, in 2017 Crawford was awarded the Chairman’s Recognition Award by IFA Foundation Chairman Michael Isakson in recognition of his outstanding service and generous support of franchising advocacy, education, and charitable giving.

Crawford also holds various offices and director positions of a subsidiary and affiliated companies. He is President and Owner of C&C Franchising, Inc., DBA Jani-King of Hampton Roads and Richmond, VA., as well as President and Owner of Opportunity Franchising, Inc., DBA Jani-King of Illinois and President and Owner of C&C Nevada, LLC, DBA Jani-King of Nevada. Prior to joining Jani-King, Crawford was a district computer center manager for Tandy Corporation and also worked at Tinker Air Force Base. Mr. Crawford additionally serves as a board member for the Cavanaugh Flight Museum. He is a graduate of Northeastern Oklahoma A&M in Miami, Oklahoma and continued his education at Central State University in Edmond, Oklahoma.
