IFA Statement on President Trump’s 2019 State of the Union Address

(WASHINGTON, FEB. 5) – International Franchise Association President and CEO Robert Cresanti today released the following statement regarding President Donald Trump’s State of the Union address to Congress:

“America’s 733,000 franchise small businesses prosper under pro-growth economic policies. I am encouraged by many of the policies that President Trump and Congress have already enacted, and I hope the federal government can work cooperatively and collaboratively to increase prosperity for all Americans.” 

The International Franchise Association is the world’s oldest and largest organization representing franchising. America’s nearly 8 million franchise employees contribute more than $400 billion to U.S. GDP.
