IFA Congratulates President-Elect Donald Trump

WASHINGTON – International Franchise Association (IFA) President and CEO Matt Haller issued the following statement on the outcome of the 2024 election:

“IFA congratulates President-elect Donald Trump and Vice President-elect JD Vance, along with the newly elected members House and Senate. Just as the Trump Administration did in the previous administration, the franchise community looks forward to working together to reverse the job-killing regulations at the National Labor Relations Board (NLRB) and Federal Trade Commission (FTC), as well as ensuring America’s 800,000 franchise businesses and their nine million employees continue to benefit from the pro-small business tax policies in the 2017 Tax Cuts and Jobs Act set to expire next year.

“As President-Elect Trump showcased during the campaign, the franchise business model is responsible for jobs that pay higher wages and create better opportunity for Americans from all walks of life to become small business owners. We look forward to working with his administration and lawmakers from both parties at all levels of government to make the American Dream even more accessible.”
