DELAND, Fla.– Pets and their parents throughout Volusia County are in for a treat with a new daycare and boarding concept set to open on September 28.
Hounds Town USA, where everything they do is for the dogs, announced the opening of its newest location in DeLand which will serve south-central Volusia County residents and their companions. Conveniently situated less than 30 minutes away from Daytona Beach at 1195 S Woodland Blvd, Ste. D the new Hounds Town is owned by Florida-based entrepreneurs, Caitlin Jackson and Chris LaBianco.
The ownership duo has diverse backgrounds in their respective fields. Jackson is an established writer, including being a published poet, while LaBianco is a proven field engineer. Now, pairing their extensive experience together through this new business venture. Jackson will oversee the day-to-day operations with LaBianco supporting as the duo looks to connect with the surrounding communities in DeLand and Volusia County.
“Dogs have played an integral role in both of our lives since the start,” said Jackson. “One of my first jobs was at a doggy daycare, and I’ve been in love with our four-legged friends ever since. Chris and I both wanted to get into business ownership and out of the corporate world, and Hounds Town immediately stuck out. Having the opportunity to go into business for ourselves as well as work with dogs daily is a dream come true and we’re thrilled to welcome pups and their owners in our doors.”
