“It’s our 35th birthday and we thought this would be a great time to have fun and give back to the communities who have supported us through the years,” said CEO and Founder Joe Bisogno said. “We have a great lineup to celebrate this milestone with our birthday deals, local charity donations and our expanding partnership with the Alzheimer’s Association. It’s our way of saying, ‘Thank you!’”

Founded March 1, 1989, as Mr. Goodcents Subs & Pastas® in Lenexa, Kansas, Goodcents now encompasses nearly 70 locations across 10 states. In the coming months, new stores will be opening in Omaha, Nebraska; St. Louis, Missouri; and Houston, Texas.

“We are poised for explosive growth this year,” said Bisogno. “We look forward to that growth and the new customers we have yet to serve.”

After 35 years serving its neighbors, Goodcents is more committed to the community than ever. As always, all Goodcents To Go meals include a 50-cent donation to a local charity. And this year, Goodcents continues to grow its partnership with the Alzheimer’s Association.

“We partnered with the Alzheimer’s Association in February 2023 to help raise awareness and funds through our Goodcents Foundation. Since this time, we have donated over $26,000, and we look forward to playing a greater role in supporting such a good cause,” said Chief Financial Officer John Bickimer. “We are excited to announce that Joe Bisogno and his wife, Laurie Bisogno, will co-chair the Alzheimer’s Association’s Kansas City walk on Oct. 5, with the Goodcents Foundation serving as the presenting sponsor.”

Goodcents is also returning to its roots by adding more pasta and Italian classics to the menu:

  • Chicken Parm: Choose whether you want your chicken parm on a sub, in a Goodcents To Go meal or in a new “family-style” dish.
  • Family-Style Pasta: Choose chicken parm, chicken alfredo or pasta with meatballs, served with two loaves of buttery garlic bread, to feed 6-8 people for $30.
  • Meatball Slider Kit: Served with three loaves of buttery garlic bread, this option feeds 12-16 people for $45.
  • Meatball side: Get three meatballs for $5.

Additionally, Goodcents is catering to different dietary needs by exploring new carb-conscious options, such as the meatball side sold without bread, and always exploring other options such as salads and innovative catering alternatives.
