Floor Coverings International Names Wes Sattler as Senior Director of Franchise Development
ATLANTA – Floor Coverings International® (FCI), the No. 1 flooring franchise in North America, with locally owned Mobile Flooring Showrooms® and knowledgeable teams of trusted professionals, appoints Wes Sattler as the brand’s Senior Director of Franchise Development. Wes has dedicated 24 years to franchise development, helping over 500 entrepreneurs achieve their dream. He joins Floor Coverings International at a pivotal time, as the brand achieves record-breaking growth with a quest to award 100-plus units next year.
Wes grew up in a family business, Cleveland Tank & Supply, where he gained a strong appreciation and understanding for the entrepreneurial spirit. After the company was sold, he shifted into franchise sales, working his way through the ranks to oversee franchise development for a variety of brands, including USA Insulation. Stepping into his role with FCI, Wes plans to focus on the brand’s business model, as well as what is most important to the business and franchise owners. As a hands-on leader, he intends to visit franchise owners to collect feedback on the brand’s model and share FCI’s franchise opportunity with qualified candidates.
“Floor Coverings International’s culture and reputation are unparalleled in the franchise industry,” said Wes. “I was instantly drawn to the franchise model and support they provide, and the fact that their franchisees are truly valued as operational partners. As the brand continues national expansion, I look forward to playing a critical role in helping achieve our ambitious growth goals.”
Floor Coverings International has spent this year building out a robust support team to elevate the brand’s overall performance and fuel franchisee profitability. FCI’s long standing credibility with franchise owners allows the brand to continue to build out teams and systems in order to pave the way for further franchise development.
“This year, we’ve prioritized growth, both internally and externally,” said Tom Wood, President & CEO of Floor Coverings International. “We are building out a team of dedicated leaders who work tirelessly to support our brand and our franchisees. We are thrilled to have Wes at the helm of our franchise development efforts, and we’re confident that his leadership will bring us even closer to achieving our goals.”
With over 270 locations open throughout the United States and Canada, Floor Coverings International boasts an elite network of entrepreneurs committed to building expansive, fully-staffed and scalable businesses. In an industry that is still widely dependent on big-box retailers, FCI’s unique business model has earned the brand the highest NET Promoter Score in the industry, at 82%.
Floor Coverings International is seeking franchisees who are involved in their community, have strong leadership skills, and are ready to join a network of likeminded entrepreneurs in prime territories across all 50 states. FCI’s franchise opportunity is one of the most affordable within the $450 billion home remodeling industry, with total investment costs ranging from $154,400 – $341,000*.
According to Floor Coverings International’s Franchise Disclosure Document, the top 50 percent of operators generated $1.6 million in average revenue in 2023 with the top 10 percent operators grossing $3.3 million in average unit volume**.
