The International Franchise Association has so many successful and passionate members who operate franchises, we’ve decided to highlight some of their stories and accomplishments each month!

Cousins Subs franchisee Keith Novotny is a community advocate who has been addressing the vital needs of health, wellness and youth education in Wisconsin’s West Bend and Kewaskum areas for more than 17 years. Having grown up in West Bend, Wisconsin, Keith is passionate about improving the access students in his neighborhood have to educational resources. He’s donated more than $10,000 to local schools to purchase classroom books and fund educational class trips and has also awarded more than 300 free sub coupons to area students to reward them for reading over the summer months.

Columbus, Mississippi ComForCare franchise owners, Columbus and Clotye Jones, were awarded the 2019 Franchise of the Year award at the brand’s annual conference last year. The duo were recognized for being high-level producers in the business and for their ability to create and nurture a strong local team. They are described as “selfless givers.” The couple had worked with older adults even before opening their franchise location, volunteering for organizations that provided support and companionship for seniors.
