Nothing Bundt Cakes has named Kyle Smith as CEO after previously serving as President for five years. Chris Bremer has also been brought on as Chief Development Officer. The franchise brand recently opened its 250th Bakery in Sunrise, Fla. Nothing Bundt Cakes now has locations in 36 states after expanding to the franchise model in 2007.

 

David Shaw has joined Dale & Lessmann as partner. David's practice focuses on franchising and distribution arrangements, mergers & acquisitions, international and domestic joint ventures and reorganizations.

 

Captain D’s has promoted Brad Reed to Chief Development Officer. Previously serving as Vice President of Franchise Operations, Reed has been with the company for more than seven years.

 

Always Best Care has announced industry veteran Jason Wiedder as new Vice President of Franchise Development. Wiedder has over a decade of experience within the senior care agency, fueling their franchise development efforts.

Chad Yeilding, a former U.S. Secret Service agent, has opened a Restoration 1 location in Hoover, Ala. The location will serve the suburbs around Birmingham.

 

Gold’s Gym is reporting the opening of 12 new gyms in domestic and international markets during the first quarter. Seven new international Gold’s Gym locations include four gyms in India, two in Saudi Arabia, and one in Japan.

FirstLight Home Care has made its debut in Hawaii with a first franchise location opening in Honolulu. The location will be operated by Oahu residents, Lauri and Scott Topping.
