Every year, the International Franchise Association publishes a comprehensive report highlighting the economic impact franchising has on the US economy. Our data for 2017 showed that there are 733,000 franchise establishments that support nearly 7.6 million jobs, $674.3 billion of economic output for the U.S. economy, and 2.5 percent of the Gross Domestic Product (GDP).

Florida is home to 47,000 franchise locations. which supports over 514,000 jobs, $45 billion of Florida's economic output, and $27 billion of their Gross Domestic Product (GDP).
