The International Franchise Association will host its annual Convention in Las Vegas, Nevada from February 26 to March 1, 2023. Every year, the Convention program helps franchisees and franchisors explore franchise best practices in the areas of business development, staff learning, franchise operations, financial planning, legal strategies and more. This year’s Convention will feature the first time ever franchise information sessions geared toward real estate franchisees to better understand the latest best practices that they can apply to their businesses.  

The Open for Opportunity Roadshow visits the Mid-Atlantic to celebrate its vibrant local franchise opportunities and the community’s impact on business owners’ diversity, equity and inclusion

The International Franchise Association (IFA) recently held Open For Opportunity Roadshows in Denver, Colorado and Dallas, Texas. The franchise events were held in partnership with the Denver Franchise Business Network, and was hosted by Denver-based law firm Polsinelli.  

The IFA Education team launched the Inaugural CFE Quarterly Connect last week with around 80 participants from within Certified Franchise Executive™ (CFE) program. Focused on virtual networking, the first CFE Quarterly Connect, provided in a live, virtual format, during which Sandie Curtis, VP, Education, and Brittney Cosby, Certification Programs Manager, provided updates on the CFE program refresh project, an overview of the TopClass Learning Management System (LMS), upcoming CFE credited events and CFE learning partner programs.

Following a successful trip to South Florida, the Open for Opportunity roadshow headed to metro Atlanta, the franchising capital of the U.S., where more brands are headquartered than any other U.S. city. With three full days of meetings with lawmakers, the business community, IFA members, and numerous tours with local franchise owners, the impact of the franchising sector and the opportunities it provides for diverse individuals, communities, and the broader economy were on full display

Now that conventions and in-person gatherings are officially “back,” we are headed to Phoenix next for the Franchise Expo West, March 18-19. This is another incredible opportunity to gather with franchising brands and suppliers, learn in our tailored education sessions, and pick up new insights for your business.
