Christian Brothers Automotive Named in Franchise Business Review’s 2024 Culture100 List and Recognized as a Top Recession-Proof Business
HOUSTON – Christian Brothers Automotive (CBA), a comprehensive auto repair brand whose operating principle is to “love your neighbor as yourself,” was once again named to Franchise Business Review’s fifth annual “Culture100” list. The list recognizes the top 100 franchise brands in its 2024 research on the Best Franchise Cultures. In a series of accolades, CBA was also recognized as a top franchise by Franchise Business Review in its report on the Top Recession-Proof Franchises for 2024.
"We are truly honored to once again be recognized in Franchise Business Review's annual reports,” said Donnie Carr, President and CEO of Christian Brothers Automotive. “This ranking underscores our commitment to fostering a positive and uplifting culture within our franchise network and ensuring satisfaction with their investment. We wouldn’t be here if it wasn’t for the hard work and dedication of our franchisees and team members who fully embrace our values and work together to create an exceptional support system for everyone in our network.”
Franchise Business Review, a franchise market research firm that performs independent surveys of franchisee satisfaction, provides the only rankings of franchises based solely on actual franchisee satisfaction and performance. The company publishes its rankings of top franchises semi-annually in its Guide to Today’s Top Franchises, as well as industry reports throughout the year that highlight research on the top franchises in specific sectors.
CBA was among more than 360 franchise brands, representing more than 36,000 franchise owners, that participated in Franchise Business Review’s research on the best franchise cultures. Franchisees were surveyed on 33 benchmark questions about their experience and satisfaction regarding critical areas of their franchise systems. The brands that were selected received the highest overall ratings based on 17 unique areas that contribute to a strong company culture, including leadership, core values, franchisee community, and engagement.
"Finding the right culture fit is an important part of any franchise investment decision, but it can be difficult to gauge,” said Michelle Rowan, president & COO of Franchise Business Review. “That’s why we gather data on how current franchisees rate a brand’s culture. It tells you whether franchisees believe the franchisor cares about their success and how well the community of support staff and franchisees work together to achieve their business objectives.”
More than 35,000 franchisees representing over 365 franchise brands participated in Franchise Business Review’s franchisee satisfaction survey over 18 months. From the research, Christian Brothers Automotive was one of just 50 franchise brands to be identified as a Top Recession-Proof Franchise award winner and featured on the list of the best recession-proof franchises. CBA franchisees were surveyed on 33 benchmark questions about their experience and satisfaction regarding critical areas of their franchise systems, including training and support, operations, franchisor/franchisee relations, culture and financial opportunity.
“While no business can claim to be completely recession-proof, Christian Brothers Automotive has consistently proven to be highly recession-resistant,” said Carr. “Our ability to thrive in both good and bad times showcases the strength of our business model. Our franchisees' unwavering confidence and mutual support are key factors in our continued success, especially during challenging economic times.”
Based on a business model that emphasizes knowledgeable, honest and genuine car repairs, Christian Brothers Automotive offers a wide array of services, from simple upkeep and maintenance to preventative services that address issues with as little hassle as possible. Beyond exemplary auto service, Christian Brothers Automotive seeks to invest in the health of guest’s vehicles and remain their auto service partner for many years to come.
