On The Border was started nearly 40 years ago when three friends got together and opened a restaurant in Dallas, Texas. Their mission was to share the border style food they fell in love with. They made sure the restaurant served sizzling fajitas and margaritas as big and bold as the border itself. Today, you can get your hands on fresh-pressed tortillas, chips as big as your head, margaritas worth their salt, and fresh Border-style food in over 150 locations in the US & Korea all thanks to three amigos—and a little tequila.

Crossing new borders, On The Border will bring its authentic Tex-Mex menu and distinctive casual dining experience to Nebraska.

Known for its flavorful, border-style favorites – like ice-cold margaritas and sizzling fajitas grilled over mesquite wood and served in generous proportions – the world’s largest Mexican casual dining brand recently signed a franchise agreement with existing franchisees Amy and Bryant Morrison. This agreement marks the very first On The Border location for Nebraska.
