IFA Member Dennis Maple Named on List of 2020 Most Influential Black Executives In Corporate America

IFA member Dennis Maple, CEO at Goddard Systems Inc. (GSI), has recently been named to Savoy magazine’s 2020 Most Influential Black Executives In Corporate America list. Published quarterly, Savoy is a cultural catalyst for the African American community that showcases and drives positive dialogue on and about black culture. This elite list of African American executives, influencers and achievers impacting corporate America is featured in the Spring 2020 edition of Savoy, available online and on newsstands worldwide. 

For more than 30 years, Goddard Systems, Inc. (GSI), the franchisor of The Goddard School, has been the acknowledged leader in childcare. As the largest franchised preschool system, The Goddard School licenses more than 525 franchised schools that serve more than 70,000 students in 38 states. 

Maple has nearly 40 years of combined leadership experience in the education and consumer packaged goods sectors at organizations like GSI, First Student, Inc., Aramark Education, The Quaker Oats Company, PepsiCo, Inc., Kraft General Foods, Inc., and Coors Brewing Company. In his education-focused roles, Dennis has gained valuable insight into issues facing today’s educators and administrators, particularly around ensuring healthy and safe environments for children. His experience with these companies taught him to use data-driven insights to spark innovation in business models and product offerings and to help shape business strategies.
