Franchising is Thriving in the State of Minnesota

Every year, the International Franchise Association publishes a comprehensive report highlighting the economic impact franchising has on the US economy. Our data for 2017 showed that there are 733,000 franchise establishments that support nearly 7.6 million jobs, $674.3 billion of economic output for the U.S. economy, and 2.5 percent of the Gross Domestic Product (GDP).

In the state of Minnesota, there are a whopping 15,000 franchises that support nearly 153,000 jobs, $9.7 billion of Minnesota’s economic output, and $8 billion of their Gross Domestic Product (GDP).
