Our data for 2017 showed that there are 733,000 franchise establishments that support nearly 7.6 million jobs, $674.3 billion of economic output for the U.S. economy, and 2.5 percent of the Gross Domestic Product (GDP).

In Texas alone, there are 62,000 franchises.! Texas franchising supports nearly 636,000 jobs, $21.6 billion of Texas' economic output, and $31.6 billion of their Gross Domestic Product (GDP).
