Franchise All Stars: A Game-Changing Engagement Experience at IFA Convention

Leading up to the highly anticipated 2025 IFA Convention, IFA launched the inaugural Franchise All Stars game — a dynamic, interactive way for Convention attendees to connect, compete, and engage before the event.

Designed to amplify excitement and foster meaningful interactions, Franchise All Stars rewarded participants for their engagement, referrals, and social sharing.

How It Worked

Participation was simple. Once registered for the IFA Convention, attendees could join the competition through our game platform. Upon signing up, each participant received a unique referral link to share with peers, colleagues, and franchise professionals to encourage Convention registrations. Points were awarded for every successful referral and for completing social media actions, such as sharing Convention-related content, following official pages, and using designated event hashtags.

Daily challenges and bonus point opportunities ranging from franchise trivia to interactive polls and scavenger hunts that required exploring Convention-related content online kept engagement high. The more attendees participated, the higher they climbed on the Franchise All Stars leaderboard.

The competition fostered friendly rivalry while also serving as a networking tool, allowing participants to interact ahead of the Convention. Many attendees formed teams, strategized on earning points, and engaged in playful banter, making the lead-up to the event more enjoyable and dynamic.

The game also helped first-time attendees feel more connected before arriving. By engaging with others and exploring Convention content, they entered the event with familiar faces and valuable insights, enhancing their overall experience.

The Prizes: Rewards Worth Playing For

To keep the stakes high and the competition fierce, we offered an exciting array of prizes. Participants could earn milestone rewards for reaching certain point thresholds, such as exclusive IFA call-outs in our social and email channels. However, the grand prizes were reserved for our top Franchise All Stars.

  • Grand Prize Winner: Kristopher Stuart of Bloomin’ Blinds won a luxurious 4-day/3-night all-inclusive Las Vegas exotic car driving experience, including VIP/white glove service and an exclusive helicopter ride over the Grand Canyon!
  • 2nd Place Winner: Stuart Germann of Stuart Germann Law Office in Auckland, New Zealand, won a 1-night room comp (including all taxes and fees) at Mandalay Bay, along with a signed copy of Atomic Habits from keynote speaker James Clear.
  • Additional Prizes: A meet & greet with an IFA Board Member, a complimentary 1/2 page spread in IFA’s Franchising World magazine, and VIP transportation to Mandalay Bay.
