The celebratory event will be held at the school located at 9265 S Broadway, Unit 200, in Highlands Ranch and will feature live music, raffles, food and drinks, face painting, a partnership with Backpack Society and more.
A long-time family dream coming to fruition, the School of Rock Highlands Ranch franchise is owned by the husband-and-wife team of Holly and Andy Quirk alongside Holly’s sister, Shanna Breckenfeld. Together, they bring a wealth of music industry experience and a deep passion for their community to their new family business. Holly’s journey began in 2010 when she established Rock Music Schools in Los Angeles, which eventually led to her involvement with School of Rock in 2013. Andy shares Holly’s profound connection to music, and together they have extensive experience running and managing several School of Rock locations. Shanna, having grown up in the music industry, actively participated in choirs during her school years, further enhancing the family’s musical background. After years of nurturing their dream, they are overjoyed to bring their own School of Rock to Colorado.
“Our dream of moving back to Colorado and opening a School of Rock here has come true. We have a deep love for this community and are eager to work with our students while making a positive impact whenever we can,” said Holly. “Our mission is to inspire and empower the Highlands Ranch community and its surrounding areas to rock on stage and in life.”
School of Rock provides students of all ages an exciting and engaging music lesson experience, which includes bass lessons, guitar lessons, singing lessons, drum lessons, and piano lessons. Drawing from all styles of rock and roll, School of Rock students learn theory and techniques via songs from legendary artists such as Aretha Franklin, Lenny Kravitz, and Led Zeppelin. Thanks to the school’s performance-based approach, students around the world have gained superior musical proficiency, with some moving on to record deals and larger platforms such as American Idol, The Voice and Broadway.
