ATLANTA – Spherion Staffing and Recruiting (Spherion) recently achieved a spot on Franchise Business Review’s list of Top 200 Franchises. In the 18th annual ranking based off franchise owner satisfaction, Spherion earned the #4 spot in the category “Top 50: Midsize” franchises.
With its most recent award, Spherion is beginning the year on a positive note after closing 2022 with a trio of awards by the market research firm. Last year, Spherion was also listed as a top franchise by Franchise Business Review for the following awards: Most Innovative Franchises, Most Profitable Franchises and Top Franchises for Veterans.
“As a brand that prioritizes the success of our franchisees, we’re incredibly proud to be recognized by Franchise Business Review in several distinguished categories, and especially as a Top 200 Franchise,” said Rebecca Rogers Tijerino, group president of Spherion and Randstad Manufacturing & Logistics. “When our franchise owners are successful, their investments flow back into the communities we serve. We’re looking forward to carrying this positive momentum throughout 2023 and enriching even more communities with employment opportunities in the process.”

More than 360 franchise brands representing nearly 38,000 franchise owners participated in Franchise Business Review’s 2022 research. Spherion’s franchisees responded to 33 benchmark questions about their experience and satisfaction regarding critical areas of their franchise systems, including training and support, operations, franchisor/franchisee relations, and financial opportunity.
Spherion’s survey data showed the following:
- 98% of franchisees enjoy operating their business and being part of Spherion.
- 100% of franchisees are likely to recommend the franchise to others.
- 96% of franchises “strongly agree” or “agree” that senior management promotes a clear vision for the business.
Investing in a Spherion franchise ranges in price from $143,100 to $352,475. This investment comes with a full suite of support services including initial and ongoing training, sales and marketing programs, and back office support. In addition, franchise owners are backed by a nationally-known brand with more than 75 years of industry knowledge and experience.
“Franchisee satisfaction levels hit an all-time high last year despite the pandemic, and we are pleased to report that our 2023 research shows satisfaction has remained sky high—a sure indicator that franchisee satisfaction is a top priority for franchise companies—and that’s good news for franchise owners and anyone thinking about investing in a franchise,” said Michelle Rowan, president & COO of Franchise Business Review.
“As an independent research firm, Franchise Business Review is committed to helping prospective franchisees get an objective view of the best franchise opportunities available based on actual feedback from the people who own them,” he continued. “This year, nearly 38,000 franchisees completed our survey and from there we identified the franchise brands with the highest levels of satisfaction and performance to educate potential buyers about which franchise to invest in. Each of the 200 Franchisee Satisfaction Award winners on this year’s list achieved stellar ratings from their franchisees.”
