History
Since 1975, we have never forgotten that we have to be both better and different to compete. Larger chains focused on the immediate transaction, we set our sights on the long-term and developed significant relationships with our customers. There is a logical size for every business. If you are too big, you might forget where you came from. If you are too small, you may not have the ability to get things done. Merlin is right-sized, nimble, innovative, responsive, and less resistant to change. We can get things done quickly to support the needs of our customers and franchisees.
Training & Support
Franchisees and their designated managers must attend and successfully complete the six week management training program conducted at Merlin’s Training Center. Merlin will provide ongoing training covering management, marketing, and technical subjects at its training center, at company shops, and in the field. Merlin will also utilize independent, third-party services to inspect and evaluate customer service, facility appearance, and operating system implementation and share results with you.
Qualifications
Candidates will need special qualities and skill to successfully operate a Merlin shop. These would include a high energy level and good work ethic, ability to concentrate and follow a system, good verbal communication skills, ability to hire, lead, and motivate employees, integrity, and at least one year of successful management experience. Industry experience is not always necessary.
