New President….New Congress….New Conference Name Please join us for IFA’s Public Affairs Conference, September 14-15, at the JW Marriott in Washington, DC, the franchise industry’s most important advocacy event. You may be more familiar with the event’s previous name, Franchise Appreciation Day, but now we’ve re-branded the event as the Public Affairs Conference and with a new President and new Congress in office, it’s critical that lawmakers know the contribution franchising makes to the nation’s economy, particularly in a time of crisis. Members of Congress need to know how franchising is being impacted by their decisions and during meetings on Capitol Hill that we will arrange for you, your views on the following issues will be heard:
To help you prepare, IFA staff and other government relations experts will review these key issues in detail during the program to help you conduct effective meetings with your Members of Congress. There is no registration fee to participate and we will make your Congressional appointments for you. More than 500 franchisors, franchisees and suppliers participated last year to tell franchising’s story. Join us again this year to lobby Congress on the issues that matter in protecting the business climate for franchising.
