Women's Franchise Network

A network of local chapters that are designed to develop relationships with women franchising professionals and to address issues, share ideas and offer solutions related to franchising. The first chapter was launched in May, 2002 in Denver and now includes the following markets: Chicago, Denver, San Diego, the Twin Cities, Southern California, New York/New Jersey, Washington, DC/Baltimore, Seattle, Toronto, Miami, Connecticut, Richmond, and Dallas.  Look for more chapters such as Salt Lake City, Phoenix and Pittsburgh to pop up across the country soon! Click here for a listing of chapters and corresponding planning chairs.

Each chapter is always looking for insightful speakers for their meetings.  If you are interested in speaking at an upcoming WFN chapter meeting, please click on the link above for a list of Co-chairs and feel free to contact them directly.

If you are interested in starting a chapter in your area, please contact Anne Poodiack at 202/662-0773 or apoodiack@franchise.org.  to help you launch your chapter, we have developed a step-by-step manual called the Guidelines for Establishing a Local Chapter.  The Guidelines detail how to create a mailing list, address budget concerns, structure your first meeting, and more.  You must be an IFA member to serve as a chapter chair.  To obtain a copy of our Guidelines, please contact Anne Poodiack directly.  Click on the link below to download several sample letters and forms referred to in our Guidelines.
