Los Angeles Trade Show, Seminars Promote Your Franchise

The appeal of the West Coast works to your franchise’s favor when the International Franchise Association’s West Coast Franchise Expo opens its doors November 5 in Los Angeles.  Representatives from franchise brands seeking to take advantage of new markets, investors seeking to own their own franchise small business and those seeking to reap the benefits of numerous educational sessions, specialty seminars and fee-based symposia will find these opportunities at the three-day event that runs through November 7.  The Expo is produced by MFV Exhibitions and has nearly 200 exhibitors signed up.

To ease the impact on attendees’ educational and travel budgets, the Expo will be conducted in conjunction with IFA’s Emerging Franchisor Roundtable Series November 4, The Franchise Development Super Session November 3-4 and the Legal Roundtable Series on Fran-Guard November 4.

The
Franchise Development Super Session will help anyone seeking to boost franchise sales and development programs by providing best practices to expand the brand in the current market.  Customer service expert and author Shep Hyken is the keynote speaker who will open the seminar on November 3. Attendees can also look forward to the return of the popular “Unconference,” in which they set the agenda for an open discussion forum.

On November 4, the
Legal Roundtable on Fran-Guard will enable CEOs, senior executives, franchise development and legal professionals to better manage business risks and increase their knowledge of current compliance requirements.  The program will help attendees to better understand Federal Trade Commission rules and the risks of non-compliance, become proactive in compliance measures, as well as build a culture of disclosure and self regulation.

If your franchise is 50 units or less and has been franchising for five years or less, the November 4
Emerging Franchisor Roundtable Series will provide experts with practical advice to advance your franchise business.  Industry speakers will discuss such issues as operating a franchise business more efficiently, strengthening relationships with franchisees, selling more units and where and how to acquire financing.

These three events will be conducted at the Millennium Biltmore Hotel and the Expo will be take place at the Los Angeles Convention Center.
