WASHINGTON, Dec. 7, 2009—The International Franchise Association will release the 2010 Economic Outlook for Franchise Businesses Dec. 16.
Prepared by PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) for the IFA Educational Foundation, the report will review 2009 outlook predictions, and forecast 2010 economic indicators, including the economic output and the number of jobs and franchise units in the U.S. franchise industry for 10 franchise business formats.
The report also includes the results of an IFA Franchise Business Leader Sentiment Survey depicting franchise industry leaders’ outlook on the economy and the future of their businesses as well as the key issues they see impacting the industry.
